Wednesday June 25th, 8pm, CAMERON SAINT BIG BAND

Tonight, for a one off gig, bassist Cameron Saint assembles a big band of South Wales finest as he premieres some of his own big band arrangements! The evening will also feature works from other band members and some of the more popular modern big band chart, with an old classic or 2 thrown in!’ Saxes - David Miller, Blyth Bennett, Dick Hamer, Maddie Penfold, Joe Northwood Trombones - Gareth Roberts, Tiggy Blackwell, Owen Goodman, Gwenllian Howe Trumpets - Joe Bentley, Gethin Liddington, Alex Linton, Bob Moeller Vocals - Isla Croll Piano - Tom Barber Guitar - John Close Bass - Cameron Saint Drums - Paul Smith

Packed with great young musicians from Royal Welsh College, Cameron will be mixing the tradional Big Band set from the like of Basie, Kenton  & Rich with some of his own copositions and arrangements. 

Cameron them head off to the Royal Academy to complete his Masters Studies in September!
